Ingredients

Scale
  • ¼ teaspoon fine Himalayan pink salt (1.5g)
  • 8 oz (240 ml) room-temperature water
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice or raw apple cider vinegar
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add ¼ teaspoon of fine pink Himalayan salt to a glass.
  2. Pour in 8 oz of room-temperature water.
  3. Stir well until salt is completely dissolved.
  4. Add ½ teaspoon lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.
  5. Sprinkle a dash of cayenne pepper.
  6. Sip slowly first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, reduce cayenne or skip it altogether.
  • Always use food-grade pink Himalayan salt not bath salt.
  • Drink 15–20 minutes before breakfast.
  • Start with 2–3 times per week and increase as tolerated.
